Establishment of a branch – „Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Przemysłowego Spółka z o. o.” in Katowice with temporary seat in Gliwice. This date should be considered as the birth of organized industrial construction in Silesia.
July 1948
According to the decision of the Minister of Industry and Trade from July 29th, 1948 was separated a branch with an independent organizational entity under the name: „Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Przemysłowego nr 4”. The scope of activities was to perform any construction work in the industrial construction.
24 June 1958
After years of reorganization, based on Ordinance No. 160 of the Minister of Construction and Building Materials Industry from June 24th 1958 on July 1st 1958. the company was given statute and the name was changed to Gliwickie Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Przemysłowego.
1 September 1991
By order of the Voivode in Katowice on the basis of the Law on Privatisation of private companies from 1990, GPBP was put into liquidation in order to privatization.
On September 1st, 1991 the company – based on the lease agreement took over the assets of the liquidated company for paid use while changing at the same time the name to: Gliwickie Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Przemysłowego S.A.
1996
50 years of GPBP, 5 years of GPBP S.A.
Efficiently carried out privatization and effort of the entire team inserted in continuous improvement of the company led to strengthening the position and prestige of a large company, that counts on the construction market.
1999
GPBP SA becomes a member of the Capital Group Mostostal Zabrze Holding SA, which holds over 50% stake.
2011
The year 2011 is our 65th birthday!

December 2013
Due to the reorganization of the structure of the Capital Group Mostostal Zabrze on December 31st 2013 has been registered a new company name: Mostostal Zabrze Gliwickie Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Przemysłowego Spółka Akcyjna.
The change of the company name has not changed its legal status.
June 2014
MZ GPBP SA signed an agreement for the purchase of an organized part of Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Inżynieryjnych Spółka Akcyjna Holding SA with its registered office in Katowice at Roździeńskastreet 28. As a legal successor to the former owner of the organized part of the above company MZ GPBP SA may use the references exposed to its predecessor, which expands the Company’s commercial offer to engineering works and road construction.

MZ GPBP S.A. over the years, has focused on all segments of construction, currently it is constructing industrial facilities, public utility facilities, housing facilities, as well as facilities in the field of engineering.
