Completion of work on the revitalization of "The Two Towers" in Świętochłowice

On May 29th 2015 ware completed construction works at the task:

Revitalization and adaptation of the historic towers of the old mine “Polska” in Świętochłowice at Wojska Polskiego street for cultural, educational, touristic and social purpose. Project co-funded by the European Union through the Regional Operational Programme of Silesia in 2007-2013, Priority 6. Sustainable urban development, Measure 2. Regeneration of degraded areas, Submeasure 1. Revitalization – big city, Type of project: 1. Reconstruction and repair of post-industrial / post-military / post-state farm buildings, including the adaptation of purposes: economic, educational, touristic, recreational, social and cultural, along with the development of the adjacent environment, contributing to the elimination of significant economic or social problems in the revitalized area (except residential-type buildings)

“Renovation and usage of historic hoist towers of the old mine “Polska” in Świętochłowice for museum purposes – Adaptation of the hoist tower of the old mine “Polska” in Świętochłowice at Wojska Polskiego street for the purpose of exposition with sightseeing function”- executed in the form “design and build” with the author’s supervision

Construction work included revitalization of two hoist towers of the old coal mine “Polska”. After the completion of works was created a modern complex, which will have cultural and recreational functions.

On June 12, 2015. was an official opening of the facility, which was also the start of Industriada.
